Wrestling starts in high schools, moves to colleges and Universities, extends to the Pros, and continues from there. If the group of wrestlers is in the younger groups, and depending on the area where they wrestle, the timeframe can extend to 5-minutes without a resting period or 1-minute. The children in the lower grades, playing at the US AW matches will often receive a break during a short round. Usually the rounds last a couple of minutes with a thirty-second resting time in between. Anytime the group is out higher than the seventh-eighth grade levels another minute is added to the rounds. Junior wrestlers often receive a break, between a three minute round. The more experienced wrestlers can match a couple of minutes, yet they will receive a longer break. At the AAU battles the timeframe changes again, yet variation are adjusted accordingly to the groups.

During the junior and other group rounds, before the player proceeds to the rings the referee will check for issues that may or may not disqualify the wrestler. The referee will search for infections, dampness, etc before asking the wrestlers to deliver a handshake to both the wrestler and referee. The referee will then sound off the whistle, alerting the battlers that the round has begun.

At different levels, wrestling has rules in varieties as in accordance with the participant’s capability as well as capacity. School level wrestling is dissimilar from the college level wrestling in many aspects, and in the same mode, the latter has variants from the state level or other tournaments.

The weight class for school level is 14 in number. Weight class for the wrestler is concluded based on his weight, which should either, be less, or equal to the specific weight in order to belong to that class group. Nevertheless, many times a few pound allowances is optional, which enables elasticity in the weight class of particular group ages. The weight classes start from the 103 pounds and ends on 215 pounds, i.e. in the school rules. One more class is the Heavyweight class that has 275 pounds weight limit. The matches start out with the opponents in one corner of the ring, i.e. each battler has his/her own corner. The challenger’s then battle after the referee makes the announcement, and the goal in the ring is to get the most points.

Wrestling is a sport that demands perseverance as well as time. For that reason, training from an early age is an obligation, rather than a choice. What’s more, in this sport one reaches age of retirement very fast, as it includes heavy physical and mental pressure encounters. In time, training not only can result in bright career but can also be a medium of inspiration for the others.

Most sports will include training of control, i.e. the person will learn to maintain control of his/her behaviors, thoughts, etc while battling in the ring. The high school and college matches are the start, since if you cannot make it in this area of wrestling; you will not make it to the pros likely.

Therefore, we see that the rule of the game is to maintain control of emotions, while learning to work toward fame. Wrestlers must also adhere to the rules of health. If these people are not conforming to health, likely they will not remain in the rings long. Competition is when the wrestlers begin their first eras of battling, working toward the pros. Thus, the main idea in the rings is to pin the opponent without causing him/her harm.
